GDT 4/10/25: Braves vs Phillies - Let's Win a Series

How do you do that with all the people who bought tickets for the original time? I don’t think that’s feasible
Vast majority within a couple hours of the stadium. I think they could adjust. Not the same scale of people but college does it frequently. It’s better than knowing there’s very little chance of getting a full nine in.

Ehh it wasn’t clear how early the storms would come through until about 2.5 hours ago. Its not a realistic ask

Perhaps not but the advisories from NWS and GEMA were out at least a couple days ago. Even moving the start time to 6 would or should not have been a tall ask.

I will say the heavy rain will move through quickly. But the light rain will hang around for a while. Depends if they want to try in light rain later

When is Olson going to be a great player again and not just “pretty good”?
My concern is he literally looks like he didn't change a fckn thing mechanically in the off season...His swing is too long...You would think he'd know that considering everyone and Santa Claus tries to pitch him inside...with success I'll add.

Rain back into Sweet Home Alabama, so how much will even the lighter rain affect things is the question. And as Brandon mentioned on the broadcast, both teams start road series tomorrow.

Olson isn’t even pretty good. The walks are pretty much an empty stat when he doesn’t actually produce in key situations. Same with Ozuna honestly. This team doesn’t have one signature hit all year.

Yes there were convective outlooks out. This time of year, that’s almost daily. Those are not going to be able to differentiate eventual timing and tracks of individual storms. The severe thunderstorm watch came out only a little before the game started.

Another reason this should have been an afternoon game. No rhyme or reason to the scheduling process.

I trust you, the meteorologist. It’s just silly that MLB seems to have an answer for everything - useful or not - but just can’t figure out a way around weather with very likely forecasts.
