GDT 4/10 Weso... We playing tonight or what? (Continued)

The DH masked a lot of Snits flaws last year

Losing the DH hurt the Braves from a roster-building standpoint. But you're right: I think it hurt even more because it Snitker-proofed a lot of in-game decisions.

Meanwhile, Phillies treating Pache like it's the pitcher's spot.

Serious question...what point in this season does Ender start getting more reps or we look to the farm for OF depth?

No way you can convince me pache is a better hitter than waters. Now, pache's defense is why he's playing, so you have to factor that in

Waters isn’t a slouch out there and you can just put Acuna in center.

Pache looks helpless at the plate. That’s why the hit tool is the most important one for a young hitter. Power develops but if you can’t get the bat head on the ball in the zone all your other tools are almost irrelevant.

I've been telling myself that Pache's process is good, even if the results aren't -- good ABs, not swinging at too much outside the zone, etc. That's becoming a hard delusion to sustain.

We're probably being too hard on him. He got his first action last year vs the best team in baseball, and the braves have faced some really good pitching for the most part this season so far. Hopefully he's about to get better
