GDT 4/10 Weso... We playing tonight or what? (Continued)

We're probably being too hard on him. He got his first action last year vs the best team in baseball, and the braves have faced some really good pitching for the most part this season so far. Hopefully he's about to get better

Agreed. I think at least a few more weeks of patience is required, before the team thinks about making a change.

But his PAs have been rough so far.

The fact that Chip would even mention a bunt right now (regardless of batter) just tells you he still hasn't and won't adapt to new school baseball.

Every scouting report seems to have his hit tool above pache. I don’t think that a Very controversial statement.

Waters' quality-of-contact is probably superior, but his ability to actually make that contact is still very dubious.

I hope they both end up great, but for now I'll take Pache as the viable MLB OFer. And if they move on from Pache, for 2021 purposes, I think they'll have to go outside the organization.

Little early to bury Pache, but he was on the roster for his defense. If Pache and Riley keep struggling, AA has to make a move for a CF/3B. Basically have three automatic outs at the bottom of the order without the DH in play (thanks Manfred)

Not even sure Waters is ready but he does have a more contact hit rate than Pache.

His k rate spiked in AAA but it was a small sample. He’s more of a mid 20s than a mid 30s guy
