Angels up 6-0, and royals play white Sox today. If they both win, the Braves' opponents will all be .500 or better

We also have had 3 starts from Perez/Suarez and Sale hasnt been great. I dont think anyone doubts Sale will be fine, We have 3 decent options in Strider/Fuentes/Ritchie to fill the last spot in the rotation coming up. Reynaldo doesnt look good but he might just need more time to ramp it up. I guess its a good thing he has still got good results without his best stuff.

We all understand the rotation isn’t very good, and is likely to regress. The Braves have been very lucky to have the pitching results they’ve gotten so far. This isn’t rocket science.

The good news is the guys likely to regress aren’t the guys who will be in the rotation when Schwelly, Strider and Waldrep work their way back.

SP luck, a great BP, and a nice rebound from the hitters is fueling the early win total. The BP and hitting should keep being great, and the SP will hopefully get reinforcements.

A couple of other points. Strider will hopefully replace our 5th starter in a couple of weeks. And 1 bad outing from Sale is dragging those numbers down too (5 FIP on the year).
