One guy was bad in our BP tonight, and he’s probably at the end of his rope.

He gave up a single and a double. He had to get out Joyce and bad Ozzie and FF. Not saying he is a chump but jeez. Not like he was lights out tonight.
 
Swanson has seemingly made progress with the slider. It's time for Ozzie to do the same with the high fastball. He will see more and more and his numbers are gonna plunge if he doesn't lay off

He has a decent chance at 40 homers if he stays healthy. He’s just gonna get stronger as the seasons go on as well. He’s truly got superstar written all over him.

Yes your right tonight, only Venters pitched bad but do you think we have a playoff caliber bullpen?
With the exception of Minter,Viz, Biddle and maybe Sobotka I don’t trust any of the other guys in the pen.
Hope they prove me wrong.
I know Jackson has been pitching better but there’s a reason dude has been on the mlb/AAA shuttle his entire career.
Regardless I love the way the rest of our team stacks up to the other contenders in the East so I’m optimistic we can be in the thick of the race until we can add at the break.

AA if I remember was after Diaz but when the Mets came calling and offered to take Cano it blew us out of the water. It would of been nice to have him though.

You’re blaming the loss on our bullpen, and are talking like it’s been a problem all season. Last time I checked it was Gausman who gave up 4 runs, and was lucky it was only that. No one said anything about it being an elite pen, or that a couple of guys don’t need to be replaced, but it hasn’t really been an issue heretofore, outside of the Philly series. Blaming the bullpen is just a scapegoat.
