I still think it was a fairly good signing for the Cubs—at least, as "fairly good" of a signing as any long-term pitching contract can be—but it's been clear, and is clear today, that the wheels can fall off for Darvish very quickly in games.

I was told by the person with the highest IQ on this forum that if a pitcher is doing well 2x though the order, that means he will continue to do well the 3rd time.
