GDT: 4/13/2018 Cubs

The GM is responsible for personal moves on the major league team. That is the updated model for baseball organizations.

Unless what you are saying is Theo Epstein has no involvement in the Cubs player acquisitions.

I don't know what to tell you buddy.

I can't quite figure why Wren is responsible for the bad system, but not credited with the good players in his system

Frankly Coppy hasn't yoelded a single impact MLB talent yet outside of Stewart blunder

I never said anything about the domestic draft because he brought in his guys to run that.

If you can point me to the international tree that was brought in by Wren then I will absolutely give him credit for Albies and Acuna.

You know I am right about this.

FYI - I wouldn't give Coppy credit for any of the pitching on the farm outside of Gohara/Fried(if he does anything).

Roy Clark was brought back to run the drafts and thats why we drafted well the past three years.

If I knew you were right I wouldn't be arguing for the wrong side

When someone has such a high IQ, their logical reasoning is not understandable by regular people.

You have to argue at this point because you are very invested in that side. Kind of like the collusion crowd. Wren had nothing to do with the international side of the organization. As a GM he had no oversight.

1 out, 1st and 3rd, Braves need a fly ball to extend the lead.

So Flaherty gets thrown out trying to steal 2nd...

I think history has proven I was on the right side of the Wren vs Coppy debate

Coppy did not end up being good since I don't give him credit for the domestic draft.

I think the balance of his trades were even because while the HO trade was GOD awful he made some kick ass ones.

Wren was a disaster.
