You can't win if you don't score (duh!), but Wisler's problem is that he seems to get in a negative groove and then the other side goes yard (often within a couple of hitters). He keeps the ball in the park and he could be a top-tier starter. What he lacks in raw stuff he makes up for in grit. Youngster grit, but grit nonetheless.
Curious to see how Cervenka does. He's logged some serious bus miles in the minor leagues. Control issues appear to be his Achilles heel. But major league history is rife with guys like Cervenka who "find it" in their mid-20s, develop into a fungible LOOGY, and hang around the bigs for a decade. Here's hoping that happens for him. I just wish he went by his first name, Colby.
