Guys, given the conditions I think Newcomb is having a pretty darn impressive day. If he can make it to the 6th while giving up only 2, I would chalk that up as a win.

This is what Newk has in him. Its what he's always had. Big left handed pitchers sometimes need some additional experience to get the wildness out.

We haven't seen the end of Newks development. Not even close.
