He saw pitches there but I'm pretty sure everything he swung at was a strike. Getting closer though, his approach got better after the bad loss to Washington at home, and he's seeing a few 3-2 counts now.

Cubs have walked 7 in 7 ip. Braves have now walked 5 in 6.1 ip. I'm not concerned with Newcomb walks today... horrible day to pitch and play baseball.

I'd be surprised if Sunday happened. Chip said a 100% chance of rain, and I'm about to check the NWS forecast, I suspect it's grim.

Edit: 90% chance of rain tomorrow per the NWS, but it might not be "as bad" after 2.
