GDT 4/14/26: Braves vs Marlins - Roster Back to 26

I think someone needs to make a series about the life/career of the AAAA fringe major leaguer. Either a reality show or based on real people/stories. I imagine its brutal for everyone close to you. You finally get your shot in the big leagues and get hammered. I think we need something like this to humanize the game a little for fans. Sometimes it is the players fault for sucking but we shouldnt be mad at fringe players for sucking. Thats on the person building the team.

They have been buoyed dramatically by Pages and Rushing, who will both crash hard and likely very soon. Their bench players like Kim, Call, and Rojas are also all hitting considerably over their head.

While that should be partially offset by Tucker and Freeman getting on track, the Dodgers are still due for some serious regression offensively.

I had never heard of that. Based on the trailer no, not like that. Not a comedy and not the success stories. More like a reality show. A good example I think would be interesting is Joey Devine. The reaction of their family and dynamic of kind of publicly sucking at your job has on your relationships.

And if it turns out that the Dodgers are just a bunch of bullies? Well then that's regression to the mean
