GDT: 4/16/18 @ 7:35. Opening day rematch edition.

These Phillies hitters can’t touch T’s slider tonight. Great to see

Of course West calls the up and away strike against the pitcher that was three inches further off the plate than the Herrera strike three pitch.

Robot umps please

i'm going to write a robot umpire book that doesn't end with them taking over the world

It’s mildly amusing listening to the broadcast buffoons mock launch angle analysis when Tucker grounded out on a hard hit ball...which is exactly what launch angle analysis tries to prevent.

One of the worst Ump crews, if not the worst in MLB.

Joe West, Doug Eddings, Marty Foster and Mark Ripperger.

Will never forget the one game with Eddings behind the plate.

Credit to Chip for referring to an excellent Fangraphs article about Freddie Freeman. Chip’s WAR has been off the charts so far this season.

I’m guessing Chip had no idea what fangraphs was until some new member of the Braves FO told him to start referencing their work.

We can see the modernization of the organization slowly creeping out to the casual fans.

There's a happy medium that guys like Albies need to take (or maybe not with him hitting an effortless HR in the awful conditions in Wrigley), but its clearly obvious that the launch angle era is here to stay.

Odubel has a lot of talent but what a sh*t play by him. That's not even close.
