Soler can mash with the best of them when he's hot.
He was the one I really wanted. I know it was impossible since we already had Ozuna. But he was my favorite player we aquired at that deadline.
isn't that exactly what you want in a DH. His hot streaks can carry you in any given series.
I understand why we didn't sign him. I just wish things were different and we could have. His playoff homers were epic.
That HR out of the stadium was LEGEND ****.
Give the man what he wanted and write it off. Would love to see him back.

He signed a 3 year deal. So maybe a move in the offseason with Rosario off the books and Ozuna likely DFAed by then? Then Ozuna and Soler will be off the books after 2024.
I believe he has a player option after this year, so if he keeps it up he’ll definitely opt out and look for a bigger deal.
Looks like your right. And his salary for next year is only set for 9 million. So he likely opts out with a decent season.
I would bet he opts out of that just to go play for a winner. He goes into beast mode come playoff time (cubs and Braves).. so I am sure he would take the same money or maybe even slightly less (if that is his market) to play for a contender. At 32 next year, not sure AA would go back to that well.
I know Miami was closer to home but going from the Braves/WS to the Marlins would be horrendous.
Looks like Fried has joined the sweeper bandwagon
