GDT 4/19 vs. Nats

Third straight day for Jackson after he was stretched out to start in Gwinnett? Snitker is already in mid season form.

i can't tell you how much i don't care what the attendance is on monday through thursday games

it will have more during the summer games i would guess

and what the team needs most is to be a winning club than any of the other stuff

Community development? In Cobb County? If we really want to talk honesty here ...

Why include residential property if not for development? Population trends are positive for this area and in general I remember reading that more and more Americans want to move away from big cities.

Braves are on pace before schools lets out, to draw about 2.5 million, which is increase of about 500,000 and would be roughly what they drew the last time they were in the playoffs.

Average attendance currently is running the best it has since 2001. Again, before school lets out.

The Marlins did 1.5 million in attendance the year before they opened the stadium - increased to 2.2 million, which was 12th in the NL. Braves currently 6th.

This is a good sign. Hopefully they get about a 700K boost once the year is over. That's what pretty much every other team has gotten the last few years when opening up a stadium. Only team that didn't was the Nats and they had just relocated to the city.

Still should wait a little longer. Through 6 games last year the Braves averaged 27K and were on pace for right under 2.2 million. The average per game slowly dropped throughout the year. We will see what happens this year.

edit: I just don't see the initial increase as being as big as other stadiums that have recently opened.
