GDT: 4/20, Atlanta Braves vs. Washington Gnats, Time to light'em up.

Nut punch of a series there. We are to the Nats what the Mets were to the late 90s early 2000s Braves. Their bitches.
 
A few thoughts:

Really hope ender is okay after the fall during BP the other day. Give the man a day off if you have to.

Boni sucks and I never want to see him in a braves unit ever again

Snitker needs to learn some management skills from Washington or someone because he is clueless as to when and who he should pinch hit.

Dickey looked great. A knuckleballer can be expected to give up a few runs, but 7 innings, 3 hits and only 79 pitches is a great effort, (see note above)
 
No baseball sense on this team. Leave the bat on your shoulders with two strikes when you should be expanding the zone. Then the guy hasn't thrown a strike and you go after a pitch without making him throw one.

Agreed....it's like they are trying to see how bad the bench can be.

He won't be here in a few years anyway.

There is no reason not to try a few new AAA bench guys out.
 
Great game by Dickey. Everyone else can screw off. I think this team is decent, which is expected, but we just don't like beating the Nats. Aside from last night, the games were close -- we just aren't doing the important things. Our 1-2 guys need to grow up and hit, because Freddie can't do anything at all. On that note, the Nats aren't even relatively impressive to be World Series favorites for the 1000th straight year.

I was driving and typing, so sort of. I probably shouldn't do that. lol

But, I wake up early and just pop-off because this is a message board and it's fun!

I'm on another board with several long-time friends who are Braves fans where I'm mainly serious.

I'm hoping snitker is crazy like a fox... trying to force the FO to upgrade bench by continuing to use boni in the worst situations. Hopefully coppy is seeing if he doesn't get rid of boni, snit will have him leading off soon. Probably not, but this scenario is better than the alternative
