It's like Fredi is trying to punish me because I praised him the other day for cutting the cord on Young as the starting center fielder.

I thought for sure we'd see CB behind the plate today after AJ played last night.

Seemed like these noon games after a night games would be an automatic "Laird-game" last year.

Fredi's going all in to win. He doesn't give a **** about AJ's aching joints.

Well... To be fair, he is probably hoping that someone will step up and claim that lead-off spot. He has tried several people, and so far, nobody has really done well enough to lay claim.

I wish EY, Maybin, Peterson... someone would show that lead-off is theirs.

Let's be honest....from Fredi's point of view, what's the point in playing the no.2 catcher if he doesn't look like you? I'm almost certain Fredi snuck in a few ab's last year when no one was paying attention.

I tried to tell y'all not to get excited, that Maybin only played back-to-back due to back-to-back lefties. It's just his stupid "soft platoon" continuing, which does Maybin no favors because for his career his splits are reversed. Fredi cannot correctly use anyone with any kind of reversed splits, be it a pitcher or position player, and esp. not the tougher calls like KJ and Maybin.

Well, you know who the manager is right? Logic is not his strong suit. Hell I don't even know he has any strong suit. He is just a babysitter.

:FrediPuzzled:

Remember when Julio used to throw hard. Love how all of our starters always see their velocities decline progressively. Julio is a finesse guy now. 3 walks in the first inning against this lineup? What a joke...

He's hurt. It's pretty obvious. Hasn't been right since Fredi left him in after the knee scare.

AJ is a terrible pitch framer, that and the tight zone isn't helping Teheran so far. Plus Teheran hasn't looked his dominate self since the knee issue.

Well, that hurt. Also, Markakis just showed his range letting that ball go all the way to the wall.

He lived his big league dreams through that big backup catcher.
