I am brilliant for not being worried about him. He’s still so young and his struggles seemed pretty clearly tied to injuries. He’s crushing at a level we haven’t seen before though. Already has hit his career high EV this year.

Ritchie is passed the point of getting a full year of service time but he could still get it if he gets top 2 in Rookie of thr Year voting. We cant get a pick because he didn't start the year with the team.
Also not enough subjective prospect write ups used the necessary words MLB requires in order to be eligible for the pick. He also doesn’t wear his hat the right way. So yeah, Braves won’t be eligible for a pick if he wins. Totally makes sense though I totally get it

Started second half of last year when he changed his stance. If he could take a few more walks he could be straight up elite
This is what he looks like when that 11th percentile Chase% isn't biting him.
The underlying problem is still there though. Enjoy it while it lasts until teams remember they don't have to throw him strikes.
So teams gave just forgotten that they don’t have to throw him strikes?
