GDT 4/24/26: Braves vs Phillies - Interesting Lineup Adjustment

Updated Lineup

Acuna RF
Baldwin C
Olson 1B
Albies 2B
Riley 3B
Smith DH
Dubon SS
Yastrzemski LF
White CF

Holmes SP

Walt is trying to follow the hot hand fallacy, so it’s no surprise casual fans see this as masterful tactics.

The odd thing is Dom’s great hitting hasn’t seemed to move him up the lineup at all when he’s been the hot hand from day 1.

DeGrom would be a pretty tasty deadline treat. But I feel like the Dodgers would pay more for his services. And for some reason, people think their farm is amazing, despite the fact they always have a high ranking and never really produce anyone.

Don’t they have a rookie catcher with like a 1.500 OPS?

Andy Pages is really good as well.

I hate the Dodgers but it’s pure cope to suggest they can’t develop prospects
Pages may be legit (though not this good). Rushing seems to be outperforming to a greater extent.

But yea, they’re not the Phillies: they can still develop young players.

While the dodgers can certainly dev players, I get what Jpx is saying. They haven’t produced guys like strider and Harris and Schwelly and Baldwin, yet for some reason their system is definitely considered better than the Braves. Personally, I’ll take the studs the Braves have produced, and isn’t close.
That’s fair

We did a number on Acuna... turned one of the best players in baseball to a replacement level player. Maybe we should change drake's stance too
