Ozzie will get every single chance to succeed. I agree he's likely going to be ass for a long time unless he figures something out, but it's just where we are. The real issue is hitting in an RBI spot

My biggest issue with Ozzie is more of a snit issue. Snit refuses to drop him to the 7-9 area. Ozzie shouldn't hit 5th for this team ever again esp if he really can't hit lhp anymore

Olson let a meatball go in the 9th that was begging to hit before Ozzie let that first pitch go. Today was frustrating.

Verdugo has 12 hits as a Brave. Eight of them have come in two games. I don't really mean that as a criticism -- the sample size is really small and you get oddities like that. I just think it's funny.

Everyone has this discussion every year about Albies when he goes into one of these slumps.
No one was saying shit about Albies 2 weeks ago when he had a .789 OPS. At that time, everyone was chicken littling over Harris and his terrible approach and his 85.0 average EV. But now Harris has been on a tear so everyone has backed off.

I mean, Albies is like 2-for-13 or something with RISP and two outs. We've been a good team lately, but we'd probably have another win or two if he actually went up there with a plan. That said, shit happens and we're still playing really well. Let’s just keep the momentum going and keep winning series — if we do, this team’s gonna be in a great spot really soon.

ozzie hasn't been a .780 OPS player since '21.. not counting juiced ball year of 2023 when everyone was killing the ball. ozzie has declined as a hitter and it looks like he is even worse this year. We can still hope he develops some sort of approach, or goes exclusive RHH (higher EVs) because he won't go anywhere while he is under a cheap contract. But he needs to be 8 or 9 in the order.
