Lol. Ozzie hasn’t been a good hitter since the last time he was healthy but that doesn’t count because reasons. Your logic is bulletproof as always.

That’s not to say I’m not worried about him of course, but you routinely say the dumbest shit with all the conviction.

I guess he isn't healthy this year either. I mean we can excuse it away all we want.. but he hasn't been good since the juiced ball year and he looks worse this year with a lot of his inputs trending down by a lot.

Okay, but it’s been 3 weeks. I’m also concerned, but that isn’t even what I’m taking issue with. To say that he hasn’t been good since 2021 when his 2023 exists is beyond dumb.

untrue... I am not worried about Riley.. not worried about Aids..(although he hits way too many grounders)...Never been down on Harris.. I am just a realist that when numbers tell me a story, then I tend to listen. Just like I temper my excitement for White.. He is a 4th OF.. but days better than JK... not worried about Sale or Spencer squared (if healthy)... even after looking at Riggy's pitch data, I am not as concerned as I was before... I think he is just battling some bad HR/FB rates and poor location issues.

Ozzie's numbers last year and this (even when healthy) have been declining... I am talking inputs.. EV, bat speed, whiff rate, zone contact... Only thing he has going this year is he actually is trying to take pitches (I know state says he is the king of 1 pitch pop ups).. his xwOBA is .290.. which is a little less than last year in 100 games.. I too hope this is just a blip because he is working on something with Hyers... but right now, that profile is below replacement level player..

Keep '23 in... it did happen.. but to pretend that his inputs varied something dramatic from any other year is just silly.. yet his outputs in '23 where elite level.. That doesn't happen without some sort of juiced up balls (and not the kind your mom likes)... I tend to asterisk '23 myself.. I sort of wish MLB wouldn't fuck with the baseballs like that personally.
 
Albies still 5th. I wish people ran this organization that were smart enough to know Ian and Eddie are trash and Ozzie isn't a 5th place hitter for 6 sec teams much less an mlb team
