Radar looks like there will be a gap in the rain for the next few hours, but it could dump around gametime
 
I don't get twitner. Solak or Ozuna should be in today's lineup of any day of the week. Yet here we are with Eddie and his grounder to 1st for a triple in against a lefty.

Anyway, we need to get up early incase this one gets shortened by rain.
 
Looking at the latest models. The two main areas of steady/heavy rain could mainly split the area… we will likely deal with some rain but I’m optimistic we get the game in with at least some delay potential.
 
I’m glad Murphy is DHing today instead of creating a 4th or 5th hole in the lineup like that Snit lineup Sunday against Houston.
 
Game plan:

Get to the fifth with a big lead and tell the Marlins to tell the umps they are good with calling it. Then tell the umps to hit the road - it’s get away day for them too.

Then tell the boys to be in bed - Asleep- by midnight. Mets are coming.

Kyle needs to go the whole way. No walking anybody.

Mr.s Acuna and Albies : get us three runs in five innings - the rest of you buns get us three more.

If we get to the 5th inning there won’t be anymore rain problems…
 
Raisel Iglesias begins his rehab assignment with Gwinnett tonight.

So, we should have Iglesias, Harris, d'Arnaud and Arcia (only question, really) back within the next few weeks. Yuge.

I'd think everyone but Arcia back next week.

He may be 10 days out or more, but close.
 
Didn't see mention of this yesterday. But Acuna and Eric Davis are the only 2 players to reach 120 steals and homers in under 600 games played.

Looks likely he will be the 9th member of the 300-300 club. Possibly the 2nd to get to 400-400 if he stays healthy.
 
Before “work from home” became a thing, these day games were always a challenge …. Unless I just said “to hell with it, I’m not gonna get anything done this afternoon anyway” and just played hooky and drove down there.
