GDT 4/27: THE NIGHT FOLTY RE- SPAWNED...

yup. Don’t tell me you can “shop in any aisle” but not pay the price when it’s a damn necessity.

Yeah, sometimes when I go to Publix I accidentally walk down the aisle with toilet paper and tampons. I don't buy anything. Maybe that's what Alex meant.

Firing AA would be stupid, but we saw last year with snit that even with a decent pen he would go with the weakest links to blow games. This year with our injuries and Minter struggling we have more weak links for him to let blow games. That said, leaving Folty in too long set up that 9th.

The giants said they're looking to trade melancon and Watson. Both are damn good relievers. Go get em, AA, sheet

Melancon hasn't pitched over 40 innings since 2016, and is owed a crap ton of money this year and next. Beyond that he's just been solid rather than his previous excellence the past few years when he is pitching. Our bullpen is garbage, but he's exactly the sort of desperation move we should be avoiding.

Watson would be a great pickup, he's been solid the past few seasons and is signed to a cheap contract with a cheap option for next year.

AA is a cheap narcissist.

This is not a Snitker problem. This is a bullpen problem and since the pen was not dealt with, this is an AA problem. And if this problem isn’t dealt with, it’s going to be a long Summer watching the pen giving up leads. There is no excuse for having leads blown in 11 games.

And everyone knows how many innings he's pitched and the money he's owed, so obviously the giants will be eating some salary
