GDT: 4/28/2018 Braves @ Phillies

Encouraging first inning. Haven't seen folty command his fastball like that in a while.

Nick has been a stud this year. Say what you will about the contract (I wish we didn't do it), but he's earned it.

While Oz has closed his low/in hole, it feels like the Phillies have found an away hole on him on his LHH side now. They've been going away on him a lot and he can't get there at all. There was one time in which it was by accident and he looked silly there and since then, they've gone away on him a lot.

(didn't see his first AB, but that's what I saw in the last series)

I question the 101 ABs with 162 strike pitches. It would take an additional 101 pitches to retire 101 batters

From my earlier post

This is why Folty is not a "pitcher" but a thrower. 162 pitches to hitters with 2 strikes this season so far. That's to 101 batters. Folty also leads the MLB with more pitches to hitters than any other qualified pitcher.
