If WAR is so important, why don't they show it on the scoreboard?

It stands out even more when you consider that in 3 of his 11 years he put up 9.5 total bWAR. That means in his other 8 seasons he put up -2.8 total.

I've admitted on numerous occasions that I was wrong on Francouer for the last decade.

I remember something someone said about Babe Ruth though in relation to a recent trade.....

That was obvious hyperbole because I was pissed we traded away a young franchise player. I never compared Heyward himself to Babe Ruth. Now that would be stupid. That has nothing to do with you consistently digging your feet into the opposite side of logic though.

I think the record will show that the majority of my over the top claims were from many years ago (with the caveat of being really wrong on Jenkins).

But I'd rather not get into this match and would prefer that you not rehash irrelevant things from 10+ years ago.

I wasn’t rehashing anything. I was just making an observation with tongue firmly planted in cheek.

And I wasn’t calling you stupid. It’s just that you’re such an uber-fan that you often let it cloud your judgement, and there’s nothing wrong with that, even if some of your takes can be a little jarring to us more pessimistic folks. But, that’s what is endearing about you. Don’t ever change!
