Maybe the Braves arent as good as they've been the last 2 years, and the NL East is ass. Both can be true. Braves have been a little unlucky too though.

IIRC it was BJ arguing with Moylan the other day when Peter mentioned that he's heating up and ought to move up in the order and Brian correctly pointed out that that's a bad idea. There's no way to know for sure that Riley's improved pitch recognition, higher BB rate, and lower chase rate is strictly tied to where he's currently hitting in the lineup, but it's obvious he's comfortable where he is right now - if it ain't broke, don't fix it. One of the big complaints early on was that the bottom wasn't feeding the top - that shouldn't be a concern right now.
