He did say that and I said, well I'll believe it when I see it. Flowers outhit and obviously did everything else better than AJP who's been as bad as ever yet still not the case. Crazy.

Mallex has had some blunders defensively so far, but on the whole he's exceeded my expectations. Seems like he can stick in CF and do well enough to be an an everyday regular, even if he ends up as a bottom of the order hitter.

AJP does all aspects of the game well. He can catch throw hit and run the bases.....okay maybe not

Smith is still improving and despite his blunders he's been quite good overall in CF. He can make up for some of his misreads with his great speed and has a number of times thus far. I really hope we keep both he and Inciarte and play one in RF and the other in CF. Inciarte plus arm will help us anywhere we put him. But having both Smith and Inciarte will make for a similar OF to the Royals on defense as long as whomever is in left isn't terrible.
