He'll likely slump some time just due to Inciarte being back and not playing every day, so can just use that excuse to give him some time to play every day and recall in a few weeks.

That said, I'd look to trade Markakis sooner rather than later to make room for both Inciarte and Mallex long-term. We can figure out left field later.
 
I like Mallex a lot. It's easy to root for him because he seems like such a nice kid, but he's earning his shot and I hope that he gets it.
 
Wisler being a fly ball pitcher, might get the most out of having an outfield that includes both Mallex and Inciarte long-term.

I know, look at Markakis OPS three years previously combined, Inciarte can do that or very similar and give you amazing defense at any OF position. Thereby making him considerably better than Markakis moving forward. So then all you need is Mallex to hit enough to start somewhere. Trade Markakis and try to add some power in LF that doesn't take away from the OF defense too much. Also fix catcher and third too and you're in business if the pitching is good.

I'm not a markakis guy. Want to sell high on him asap

I'm not sure inciarte can hit as well as him either. Still need to see if inciarte can hit lefties

Mallex is someone I don't believe in yet. If he keeps hitting the ball hard I'll change my mind.

But mallex needs to play. EVERY day. Even if in aaa. I think all his reads need are time. He's played very little baseball compared to peers

Inciarte had a better OPS by one point than Markakis last year, but if you go by Markakis numbers over last three years combined and factor in most likely further decline on both offense and defense. It is a slam dunk for Inciarte on both offense and defense unless you think his hitting .303 last year with a .747 OPS was a fluke even though he did it with having a poor year vs lefties. The way I see it those numbers should improve if he improves vs lefties and even if not he's still giving Markakis-like production. Plus he's better on the bases as well.
