Fredi has really screwed himself over by STARTING the season with BJ Upton in the two hole. All the Fredi supporters have said "it's to give him confidence." Well guess what, now you're stuck with him there or you shatter the confidence that much more. It will be even more humiliating that he is so bad that he has to be moved a week into the season
 
Jeez. Way to pitch outta that, Carp. still, far more stressful than it should have been, though.
 
Whew, what a comeback. Helped by a few iffy calls to start against LaRoche. I'll take it, can we add some more runs please?

Fredi knew exactly what he was doing all along. Have Carpenter clear out the heart of the order for the 9th.

What was wrong with Avilan going into the 8th after facing 1 hitter in the 7th? He is very capable of getting good righties out. That was very wasteful in what looks to be an extra innings game or loss or both.
