Not a bad trade in hindsight. The Petersons didn’t amount to much, but Fried and Mallex are bonafide Major League talents.

Curious to see how Dustin Peterson does with the Tigers. I saw they had him in CF the other day. He could develop into a decent back-up, but his bat will have to carry him. But I agree that the trade doesn't look as lop-sided now as it did when it occurred.
