This has still been one of the most dominant starts I've seen a Brave throw in a long long time. I really hope that this is the real thing with Fried. Can't wait to see Ensceff's data on this game.

Folty was better vs the Nats last year, gave up 1 hit, had 10+ K's and either 1 or 0 walks. Best start he's ever thrown.

Tonight Fried has shown what he can do with command. Just dominant. Reminds me of watching Scherzer with the futility of the hitters.

Exactly.

Maybe it just took him longer to get his command after TJ. If he can continue to use his fastball like he did tonight, he could really take off. Very impressive. Now I need to see some consistency.

Hopefully Folty and Gausman can get back and repeat what they did last year. Soroka also likely not far away.
