When you have a player that's at the center of a debate the way Kemp is, people tend to latch onto anything to try to prove their point. Kemp hits two homers and you'll have people jumping on that. I'm sure the next time Kemp misplays a ball in left you'll have people jumping on that too.

Instead of looking at results, I've tried to watch how Kemp has looked and I've been encouraged. Still looks like he's got excellent bat speed. That's the thing you really fear seeing a guy Kemp's age start to lose.

We'll get those back when we send him down for 5-6 weeks to "figure things out".

For those keeping score at home, the Braves have scored 5 runs total in 3 games. It will be a small miracle if this offense isnt one of the worst 10 in MLB.

3 1/3 games. We needed 3 extra innings to get two of those runs.

I don't think our offense is this bad anymore than I think our starting pitching is that good. It's 3 games. On the road. Vs 3 pretty darn good pitchers. Early in the year in cold weather.
