I'm saying that Dino-Snit should have anticipated Acuña would start sucking in the leadoff spot if he asked for extra sauce.

Acuna. He’s the best hitter on the roster, and nobody else posts an OBP high enough to warrant moving his power to the 2 hole. Until someone on the roster with less power like Harris or Kelenic or Murphy can post a .360+ OBP, Acuna will remain the best option.

Being in the leadoff slot still isn’t the reason he hits well though.

Got it.

So the move is to move Acuna into the 2 slot. When he struggles for another week, move him to leadoff. Then, and only then, will he be happy in the leadoff slot and start hitting again.

Yeah, I agree about the leadoff spot. With Snit I would guess he would choose leadoff hitter based on whose fast and not who gets on base if Acuna wasn't there.

I'd put him fourth where he was before we moved him into the leadoff spot to make him happy. Put Kelenic leadoff while he's riding this BABIP streak. Ozuna, Olson, Riley fifth and on down the line. Then when everyone starts slumping, put Acuña at leadoff and he'll start hitting.
 
Bullpen has certainly been the MVP of the team so far. 2.10 ERA before todays game. Somehow we are 21st in IP by the pen. Would think we were much higher than that.

Ultimately the correct lineup is Acuna up top with Harris and Albies platooning the 2 and 6/7 spots. So I’d move Harris to leadoff, drop Acuna to 2, then after a week or so flip them.

Kelenic to the 8 hole to space from Harris a bit.
 
The biggest takeaway from this series is that our Bullpen is a real strength, and the D-backs is not.

Even when our starters were bad, our bullpen shut them down, while we were able to score runs on theirs.

The starters will get better, but the bullpen will give us a chance in the later innings of a lot of games.
