GDT 4/7/24: Braves vs D-Backs - Feeling Sweepy

Now that Acuna is struggling in the leadoff slot, how can they move him to the leadoff a lot to get him going? Isn’t the leadoff slot the only lineup position Acuna can succeed in? What are they going to do???!?
 
I am very worried about Acuna. Seems a lot more like 2022 Acuna than 2023 Acuna. If feels like our lineup starts with Olson and ends with Kelenic and you just hope the other guys just get on base so we can get back to Olson/Ozuna/Arcia/Kelenic.
 
Or is the answer maybe that sometimes guys struggle, and their position in the lineup doesn’t matter one bit?

Nah can’t be that because of what we thought we knew in the 1990s.

Snit has to wake up, change out of his robe and slippers, read the paper copy of the newspaper, and eat some grits after his nap. So he better get started now that things are happening to be ready when he actually has to do something. He can’t nap the entire game.

Like I said, what was Snit supposed to do. Maybe if he yelled at Sale to pitch good from the dugout he doesnt allow runs?

Nope. I’m just taking this opportunity to point out how nonsensical the narrative is that Acuna thrives in the leadoff spot, and moving to that spot was key to him hitting well.
