GDT 4-7: Reylo as the STOPPER

This is ridiculous. Hitting him with the ball like that is safer for both of them. If he hit him with his fist with the ball in his hand it might have done real damage.

Quick lifehack. If you find your self in a spontaneous fight load your keys into hand with your car key sticking out between your fingers and go for the eyes, throat, or below rib cage. Saved me from a mumugging.
It makes fighting sense. But as far as on the field of play, I think the league could see it as similar to the batter rushing the mound with the bat. And this isn't about HOW he hit him with the ball being safer than punching him with the ball...this is about how he shouldn't have been using the ball as a weapon at all.

Eh, I think you could probably do more damage with an empty fist than a fist holding a baseball.

I think it’s about the same. Both could kill or seriously injure somebody if connected just right with the right force behind it, but neither are likely to cause more than a bloody nose and bruising the way most throw punches.

If someone attacks the ump theres no limitations on using a weapon to defend himself. If a player attacks Manfred he or someone else is using any weapon they can get their hands on. Using the ball protects Reynaldo from injury too. I dont think it was intentional. He used his gloved hand too and theres no benefit to leaving that on. I would argue dropping the ball on the ground with all those people running around is far more likely to cause injury. And of course it would be Acuna who steps on it and breaks his ankle. I dont believe in fair fights when defending yourself.

You're talking like this was a street fight.
