Responding to having guys with tons of power and tons of K by saying, 'Give me guys with no power who can't hit but don't K' is stupid, yes.

it's not what I think we're doing, though.

We just need good hitters. Guys like Ruiz and hopefully Paroubeck fit that mold.
 
Just looked at Grilli's strike-to-ball ratio: 13-to-1. I get the impression that he's going to blow some saves by simply getting rocked, but he doesn't appear to be one of those guys who is going to be guilty of nibbling.

Last year in Miami Chip rocked the open collar and wild hair . . . maybe a pinky ring short of Medellin chic.

Its not about looking for guys with no power. Its looking for hitters that have high contact rates and will work AB's. If those guys hit for power then even better. The reason some of the players we have now can't hit is that we are in year 1 of a massive rebuild project.
