GDT 4/8/25: Braves vs Phillies - Confusing Lineup for Sale

Man I hope the team doesn't show up flat again like they did after their first win. The offense will need to be on point with Holmes pitching tonight.

I really wish there was a way to get Baldwin and Murph in the lineup tonight. Would be nice to have another LHH in the lineup without losing Murphy's bat. However, I don't see a way, since Ozuna nor Baldwin have fielded any time in LF (recently) that I know of.

Verdugo could and should be in lf tonight
 
We can’t have Ozuna or Drake out there. Especially if watching Sosa out there last night tells us anything. Drake would most likely be a horror show, and I’d be worried about Marcel getting hurt!
 
I know the counting stats dont show it but huge to have Baldwin come in and not look terribly overmatched
 
Put Murphy back in after last night but I have 0 faith in Snit. Hopefully AA takes control of the situation. I do agree that Verdugo needs to come up. Once Acuna comes back I think the dugout loosens up with his energy, Verdugo seems like a high energy guy also. We need that bad down there.

Yea. Unlucky for sure. He’s looked pretty good. I’m not too worried. Can he pitch 3 games a week??

He’s young, he’ll be fine. He’ll get plenty of at bats even if some here think it’s not enough. Catcher is a tough spot when you have two good ones. You want to ride the hot player but they also need some rest. It’s a hard balance sometimes. Snit did ok with the TD platoon at the beginning but then Murphy Got hurt and TD was hitting well and the platoon changed dramatically. Hopefully snit has an actual decent plan 🙏

As we can see from last night to tonight, he doesn’t.
