If Albies hits 30 with his other tools he would likely be an MVP candidate type player. I think we have to remember how good a plus defending middle infielder who could hit in the 290 range, run well and hit 15-20 HRs would be.

True. Freeman did have 28 in 117 games last year. Since he altered his approach in 2016 I think he's a sure bet to reach 30+ homers for awhile as long as he plays in a full season.

I don't think people are bearish on Albies, it's just weird with him, things are quieter because of where he was in the MiLB pecking order and because he hit a wall when he went to AAA two years ago.

He's going to be a star, if he isn't already. He'll likely be the monkey in the middle in between Acuna and Swanson in how good they all are (not being unfair to Swanson).
