Speaking of Johnson, it was randy’s 5th year before he got his BB rate under 5; it was actually over 6 his 3rd and 4th year

That better be kosher sea salt or else I can't comprehend.

Are you to salt as Zito is to mustard?
We have some really good pitchers (scherzer, strasburg, darvish, and Quintana) scheduled against us this week. Would like to have Acuna and camargo for Saturday vs Quintana
Some of us cannot experience uncomplicated enjoyment. Think of our reservations as the salt that draws out the tomato’s fullest flavors.
Checking in on the Angels. Ohtani has 6 K's in 3 innings. Dude is Babe Ruth.
His splitter is as good as Smoltz's was...it looked pretty much unhittable, and add that to the 100 mph fastball...yikes.
It must be fun as hell to be an LAA fan and watch Ohtani and Tron.
OTOH, I've been enjoying Braves baseball (in my qualified, jpxian way) as much as I have in a long time.

It'll test an interesting development so far this season, which is the very low strikeout rate (second lowest in the NL) our lineup has exhibited. Could be a very positive thing about this year's team. If you look at our lineup, it should be a low strikeout lineup. Which can partially make up for things like not having much power.
