Dans ineptitude is infectious...
Uggla is terrible.....but that play is 100% on Schafer. First he didn't catch a routine fly ball and then he missed the cutoff man (Simmons). Blaming that run on Uggla is nothing more than piling on, imo.

Cutting one player won't fix this mess.

Wren has got to go back to the drawing board this winter. Uggla and the Uptons need to go, maybe even Heyward too. This offense needs to be rebuilt from the ground up.
Wren needs to be unemployed this winter. Someone else should rebuild this team, not the idiot who built it.
Ha.
Did Dan have a wide open opportunity to shoot Yadi by 20 feet? Yes.
Did he fail to do so because he had no idea where the runner was ? Yes.
Jordan gets plenty of blame , but just because he wasn't the only guy with his head up his ass on one play doesn't mean Dan gets excused.
Easy cowboy. It's loaded with hitters who aren't hitting. How is that his fault?
That play never happens. How was he supposed to instinctively know where the runner was?
Why wasn't someone telling him where the runner was?
It took Schafer making two terrible plays to even put Uggla in a position with the ball.....so, yes, it is 100% on Schafer. And I'm by no means an Uggla supporter and will be fine if we put him on the DL until we are told that he has "figured it out" again next spring.
Insert obligatory rant phrase "he put those hitters on this team".
His eye surgery must have failed because he missed the guy in the white and red jersey lumbering home. Yadi is a big dude tough to miss on the paths and he still f'd it up.
Well, he didn't really have much a chance to look toward home plate during the play on account of the clown show that we had going in center field.
Easily distracted huh? Can him for that too for all I care.
