I surely hope we can upgrade in the outfield, but he’s not a horrible backup plan, imo.

Unless a team offers a starting job I see Neck being the 4th OF next year on a 4 to 5 mil contract.

I think Neck could hang around the league a few years as a pinch hitter.

Sinker at 94 getting ground balls. Everything around the edges of the zone so far. Exactly what I was hoping to see.

Now let's hope he can maintain that velocity for 80+ pitches.

Pro tip, don't throw sinkers right down the middle to Cespedes.

I have watched Mike in the Minors.. very typical inning.. efficient... doesn't want to K you... wants you to swing at it and ground out... might give up a few hits... but rarely anything super hard..

Already looks like he trusts his stuff more than folty and newk. Maybe bc both folty and newk have straight fb despite elite velocity. This guy attacks.

Ps I’m getting worried about dansby again. Strikeouts and weak contact. Need another double
