No way. He's been getting hit hard the last few innings, the bullpen has a day of rest, and you want him to leave his first start feeling good.

All true.. I would keep leash short.. but he is at 80 pitches and is still pumping his pitches in there.. bottom of order...

I think he is done.. but I would let him go another.

Bc you need a long guy or a two inning guy with a lot of Young pitchers. Young pitchers are inefficient and are on pitch and innings limits.

Hit vs his 88 after facing 95.

Plus it’s a bullpen arm. There are like 10 predictable no arms in baseball

Laughable to me to have a million pitchers and then we trade for hand. They are going to want more for hand than it would take to get moose.

I’m not giving up Wilson or touki for a pen arm

Hand has demonstrably effective stuff, and success pitching in the role he’d be asked to fill.

He’d have a lot of team control left (I think) so he’d fit the payroll.

He’d allow Atlanta to deal with its five inning staff issues or if those were to resolve he’d maybe let them give some guys a rest her and there.

Honestly if they are using internal option to make the swing role let it be Wisler or Fried or Gohara or Allard or Newcomb or Folty.

I don’t see the appeal of it being anibal. I’ve seen that show too many times and don’t recall it working out.
