GDT 5/1 - MAY DAY!

Too bad we couldn't face FF with the bases loaded. That fail lost this game

No, what lost this game is this sorry excuse for a pitching staff blowing a 4-0 lead in the late innings. The entire staff needs to be grounded, or at least sent to bed without dinner.

1) AA is a ****ing idiot for not addressing the bullpen flaws and 2) Snit has put on a mismanaging clinic late in close games this year

It was 5-3 with bases loaded 1 out and the nl mvp up. I'll hold him to a higher standard than guys like Santana and Jackson

He can’t do it every time, dude.

Pitching is the problem. If it continues to perform at this level, the playoffs is one butthole we ain’t going to sniff.

DOB: Travis d'Arnaud will go on the IL and rookie catcher William Contreras will be activated to replace him. Snitker said d'Arnaud's injury is "not good" and could be serious, but they'll wait for diagnosis after he's flown back to Atlanta to be examined by team doctor Sunday.

Broken thumb, I guess. What’s the timetable on that?

This season is taking shape nicely

We're about to have pache, contreas/Jackson, and pitcher in the lineup every night. The pitching better tighten up or this season will go south quickly

Did anyone ask snit if he felt responsible for TDA injury considering his DA decisions led up to it? Lol

When in the hell in recent memory of any team that you can recall...from your little league team as a kid to the Braves now have you seen such a **** pitching pitching staff “tighten” up or “righy the ship”? We have blowpen full of Quad A guys and Liberty thinks this **** flies and most importantly, thinks this fan base is too fckn stupid to realize. We brought back a guy that we DFAd in 2019 and was DFAd twice in 2020 in Biddle...Nate Jones, Grant Dayton, Luke Jackson, biddle, Santana, and Tomlin are all Quad A guys...in essence...we have a major league ready offense with a pitching strategy in roster building as if we are rebuilding...

I’m not worried Liberty will make the nessasary moves to fill the holes by opening the checkbook up....

What I’m afraid of for TDA, since they’re going to have an MRI done in him, we may be looking at worse than a broken thumb for him. Hope I’m wrong, but sounds like a ligament injury

Seems like the perfect time to option Alex Jackson and sign lucroy.

Well no doubt Jeff Mathis will get the first look being he’s on the taxi squad and will probably be on the bench today today...or maybe the starting lineup due to Jackson’s complete ineffectiveness.

Didn't realize we had Mathis. Mathis, then

What 40 man roster move will be made to recall Contreras since he's not on 40 man roster?

Oppps-- Contreras is on 40 man but Mathis is NOT. So a roster move would be necessary for Mathis to be activated.
