GDT 5/1: Sale and Tromp

Seems like in this series, the umpires have given a lot of leeway on calls just off the inside and outside corners, but missed a bunch of pitches at the top and bottom of the zone.

Am I the only one to notice this?
 
Slump busted early before it progressed into a more serious issue. Our pitching continues to impress…. Get a day and then the ravine for marquee bright lights weekend against the evil empire. Life is good !

Maybe the theory is to have tomorrow complete off from travel. Most baseball charters leave after the game, why I could only conjecture.

It begs the question as to why this series started on Monday and not Tuesday. Mariners were already home, and the Braves had to travel across the country to play the next day.

A good point. And Mariners also have Thursday off as well as they travel to Houston for the weekend. I’d bet the Braves would have rather had Monday off than Thursday already being on the west coast.
 
Well its a good thing Acuna, Riley, and/or Olson didnt get the day off because they were our entire offense. Those 3 combined 5 for 12 with 2 walks and 4 RBI. The rest of the lineup was 1 for 22 with 3 walks.

So you know that Kelenic would have been hitless. Or that TDA wouldn’t have hit a 3 run homer. lol.
 
TDA might have, but again he is the starter. Does he really need that many days off considering Murphy will be coming back. Kelenic has been sucking as bad as everyone else, except he doesnt have a track record of breaking out of slumps like the others.

You are absolutely right. People are freaking out because the bats have cooled off. The last thing we need to worry about is offense. They got a whole season to figure it out. We have the least amount of losses in the majors and all kinds of **** has gone wrong. People are spoiled.
