It didn't hurt us last night, but Snit wouldn't hesitate for a second if it were the other way around with Duvy PHing against a lefty. You just worry he'll make this mistake in October unless AA brings in a full time OF sometime this summer.
Duvall has gotten 20 AB against RHP this year while Kelenic only has 1 AB vs. a LHP. Small sample sizes
Kelenic is being platooned with an unsustainable BABIP. Still, he's on pace for ~2.5 fWAR. Would love to see more power but not a horrible showing so far. In the long term I think the moves to acquire him will easily be a win with how much team control we have. But how much does he have to produce this year for it to be a win in 2024 considering the team is in a win now mode. Would 2 WAR cover it?
