As much as I have enjoyed watching Freeman and was sorry he left, I wasn't driving at the current comparision between him and Olson with my comments. We still don't know how things will play out over the length of the contracts in terms of overall performance and budget effects (budget effects obviously mean less for the Dodgers). My only point is that Olson is central to the Braves' line-up performance and while he hasn't been miserable, he's probably going to have to do better if the offense is going to hit another gear. I think Acuna's presence will help him more than anyone else. I realize that is simply qualitative analysis on my part and there's no way to quantify that.

Baldwin is the hot hand right now and needs to find a way into the lineup more. If that means giving Ozuna a day off then so be it. But I agree that Snitker has 0 fight in him right now. He has to go sooner than later. I wouldn't wanna be AA bc 2b, SS, CL, SP, and Manager needs to be addressed.

He would be a guy I would check into after the season. The Rockies are in a situation where no manager can succeed. That roster is a mess. I keep forgetting that they signed Kris Bryant. His record the past few seasons should not be an indictment on him as a manager.

Another guy I might keep an eye on is Kevin Cash. He’s hung in there in Tampa Bay and has done a good job considering the low payroll with the Rays. Nobody knows what direction that franchise will be going, literally and figuratively. How much longer will he deal with the uncertainty?

I do agree. But frustrating to see other divisional opponents handling the easy teams and even tougher ones while Atlanta can barely scrape out wins against those bad teams.
