I've never seen it, but the Yankees walked Rizzo this month with nobody on base and 2 outs. It was a tie game at Wrigley in the bottom of the 10th.

It happened 3 times in 2016 to Ortiz, Nelson Cruz and Corey Dickerson (wtf?).

Once in 2015 to McCutchen.

Since 2000 it has happened 59 times...22 times to Bonds. Next highest total? Pujols with 4. It is remarkable how scared of Bonds other teams were. We will likely never see that again.
