GDT 5/14 Braves at KC, or Ned Yost's favorite series ever

I'll give it to him, Melvin Upton is having a darn fine season both offensively and defensively in left field.

.282/.366, 5 homers, 16 RBI, 7 SB.

Reggie Sanders effect. Comes to Atlanta and ****s the best. Leaves and goes back to playing like he was before.

He averaged right around 95 at times last year as well. I don't necessarily think he's throwing softer, he's just locating it better and may be going with the 2-seamer a little more often.

Well, Folty also had games last year where he was more low 90s early and high 90s late, though more vice versa. Now he seems more consistently mid-90's than up and down so much. But yes he is certainly locating it better and using the 2-seamer more now. He's also mixed in his off-speed pitches better of late.
