GDT 5/15/2022 - 11:35am Start - TAKE THE SERIES

We should have swept the Pads. Aggravating but I know we’ll get better just everybody slumping at the same time. Look at the Dodgers lineup they aren’t doing squat either. Only Freeman hitting .300 and he may be below that after today.

I wish we were sucking like the dodgers are with a .625 winning %

The Dodgers had the 2nd most runs scored in MLB coming into today and are averaging the most runs per game in the majors.

With how hard we’ve been hitting the ball and the results we’ve been getting the luck will change just like there’s will and is showing the last few games.
 
Seems like the BP and defense has been the problem the last few games. At least they are losing in a different way lately.
 
The Braves are almost exactly an average offense, which is actually pretty good considering the OF is literally the worst in MLB.

The good news is the OF should improve once Acuna get going, Harris comes up, and AA trades for a real MLB OFer.
 
There is a Twitter page called “Message Board Geniuses”. They post messages from sites of college sports teams that are seen as dumb, strange, or whatever adjective you’d like to use. I don’t know if they look at MLB message boards, but if they did, half of their content could come from this site, I think

I am well aware, but this series was weird. A year ago we sweep this series and honestly they should have swept this one. Just as easily the Padres should have swept it. Our defense was horrendous and the pen was a sinking ship. So lift the curse.

This is the best Braves community I've been around. Reddit, Facebook, and Twitter are all awful places for Braves baseball. You can't even criticize Chip Caray on those sites.
 
On the bright side, during this Mets, brewers, Red Sox, and padres stretch, the braves are 6-6. Not bad when you consider our big bats aren't hitting well

Dude doesn’t know anything about anything, so it’s safe to assume that he didn’t watch.

As a matter of fact, I’m pretty sure he’s been bitching every year for the last decade about how baseball is dead to him and that the Braves are done. He should be ignored.
