Another blunder by Swanson. Don't we have a better option for the field and the plate than Swanson playing very well in Gwinnett.

No, we in fact do not.
Swanson has two (almost three) seasons in which he's doubled Arcia's career WAR. And that's not for lack of playing-time on Arcia's part.
Picking up Arcia was a savvy depth move, but we shouldn't imagine he's a short-stop savior.
