Lol yea our “resources” are so star spangled awesome aren’t they?
I know it’s not a popular take, but the best case for the Braves and us fans is a nice losing streak to end the mirage of contending and be able to get something for some guys that we are going to lose for nothing and get ready to try to be back in the hunt next season.
He didn't get enough rest.

Because Newcomb can’t throw strikes any better and Dayton apparently can’t pitch two games without his arm falling off.

I don’t see how it’s a waste of resources to go improve a bullpen that is continuously losing you one-run games. But carry on.

Right. But if we’re going through the motions of getting Pederson...if the bullpen wasn’t total ass, we’d be in a little better shape. But no we aren’t winning the World Series.

Well apparently baseball teams have to be constructed in a certain way where there are x amount of relievers who throw right and left handed. And right now he’s one of our top three lefties.

I'm sorta dumbfounded you'd rather just leave Martin in there than go matzek. Seems the only difference in the 2 is you hope matzek throws strikes and you hope the rockets Martin gives up are right at someone. At least matzek has the platoon advantage

I realize bunting is more or less frowned on these days but I would have rather seen Arcia put one down than that clown ass 3-1 approach he had. Swanson fly out would have then tied the game.

My whole point is it does not ****ing matter with this group. Martin had an 0-2 count and pitched like a complete puss. Does not matter left or right there. In theory yeah you’d want Matzek but he seemingly can’t throw strikes after the sticky stuff crackdown. They all suck.

I agree that our best outcome would be to get mercy-killed in the next couple of series. The rest of the division has done us the disservice of sucking enough to make us appear competitive but this team is just…not good. I think we need the some clarity on that point.
